Order you own shortly, details coming soon.

Wigan Yamaha brings you news of the fourth and final stage of the 2018 Ténéré 700 World Raid is the most far reaching of them all.

As the final stage of this extraordinary journey, all of the stops have been pulled out for the European stage. With four ambassadors and almost 2000 km, this is the ultimate test for the Ténéré 700 World Raid Prototype and a fitting finale for this adventure.

So far, the tour has explored down under with Rod Faggotter and the Ténéré Tragics, tackled the deserts of Morocco with Stéphane Peterhansel and conquered the harsh terrain of South America with Adrien Van Beveren. This chapter of the story is set in Europe, with four ambassadors, multiple countries and a whole host of challenges for the Ténéré 700 World Raid Prototype to rise to.

Nick Sanders started this final stage from his home in Wales. As an avid explorer, there was no one better to demonstrate the ability of the Ténéré 700 World Raid Prototype to eat up the miles on everything from smooth roads to rough hilly terrain.Having achieved such feats as seven circumnavigations of the globe, Nick knows exactly how to put a bike like the Ténéré 700 World Raid Prototype to the test and did so with gusto on his section of the adventure.

Taking over from Nick in Germany was Touratech founder, Herbert Schwarz.Herbert has built his career around building the things that adventurers need to go adventuring.Touratech is one of the world's largest suppliers of adventure accessories and Herbert is no stranger to the wild life himself.Tackling the long and winding road through Germany and on to France, Herbert's trip demonstrated just how well the Ténéré 700 World Raid Prototype operates as a touring bike.

Seasoned Enduro and Dakar veteran David Frétigné took over in France where he put the Ténéré 700 World Raid Prototype through its paces in some of the wilder stretches of his homeland. As always, the bike proved its absolute adaptability, switching from main roads to country trails with consummate ease.

For the final leg of this final stage, Italian Rally and Enduro legend Alessandro Botturi took the Ténéré 700 World Raid Prototype through some of the highest points in Italy. With large changes in elevation and terrain ranging from smooth tarmac to rough trails, the Ténéré 700 World Raid Prototype handled it all with ease.Climbing high in style and comfort. From the Italian alps, the tour wound its way to a scenic end in Andorra where the Ténéré 700 World Raid Prototype was boxed up and sent on its way, back to the Yamaha Motor Europe labs.
