Went for a mot today. Great lads. Very friendly and welcoming. Had a good chat and made me a couple of cups of coffee while I waited. Even though my bike failed I will be going back because the service is nothing short of 5 ????. Thanks for the hospitality guys its not easy to find (especially for a woman motorcyclist).

I just wanted to drop you a quick line to let you know what a pleasant sales experience I had. I came in to have a look at an MT10SP, I had rung earlier in the day to see if you had any in stock. As I looked at the bike I was greeted by Howard. A more friendly individual in a sales role I have yet to meet! Nothing was too much trouble for him. He was keen to let me hear the bike and moved quite a few out the way so we could take it outside. Having been offered a coffee my wife and I sat down, and before you know it, I'd bought it.
I've been in sales for over 25 years, and can honestly say that my sales experience at Wigan Yamaha has been one of the best. I've bought all sorts of bikes over the years (some a great expense, a £25k plus Ducati for one) but no one was as friendly or helpful as Howard. It'll be no surprise for you to hear that the handover on Tuesday was equally as good.

Found a bike through Autotrader being sold by Wigan Yamaha and emailed an enquiry through to them. The Sales Agent got back to me within a day and answered all my questions quickly and honestly, since I had to travel nearly 200 miles to actually view the bike in person he provided me with lots of additional pictures to show the bike was exactly as described giving me the confidence the round trip would be worth it! They were pretty firm on the price they had set but I can honestly say after weeks of looking it was priced very fairly for the bike style and year in fact I would go as far as saying it has to be one of, if not the best, example out there for the year and model so I got it for a steal with 3 months warranty & a years MOT! Thanks to the whole team especially the servicing person (apparently I can’t name him but rhymes with ten) who patiently answered my stupid questions once I got home!!
I would definitely recommend Wigan Yamaha and if the right bike pops up for sale I will happily make the 400 mile round trip again - though next time I might tell my wife in advance apparently me getting another bike is not a happy surprise for her just me haha!!

Bought a prereg MT-09SP from James, after test riding a multitude of other bikes over the weeks (Kawaski Z900rs, Honda CB1000r, Yamaha XSR900, Yamaha Tracer 900) to upgrade from my XSR700. James did a great job sorting out a fantastic deal. Getting a reasonable trade in value for my machine, but compensating with a great offer on their prereg, low mileage demo MT-09SP bike. Plus, including the first service within the deal. Rang up a couple of hours later and made a deposit over the phone.
Came to collect the bike and impressively, within the hour, all the paperwork was completed. Rode away happy everything was in order. Full credit to Rob. They've also since resolved a mark I spotted on the new bike, within a week. They keep their word.
I'm loving the bike. Flexible engine with power on tap from all RPMs, and stuffed into a lightweight frame with complimentary suspension.
